How ERA Media Works collects, uses, and protects your personal information on Neetdaily.

Neetdaily is operated by ERA Media Works, a Sole Proprietorship registered in Tamil Nadu, India. This policy applies to neetdaily.com and all associated services.
1. Who We Are
ERA Media Works (trading as Neetdaily) is an educational technology company based in Tamil Nadu, India. Our platform at neetdaily.com provides AI-powered daily NEET exam preparation sessions to students across India.

2. What Information We Collect
Information you provide directly
- Account information: Name, email address, phone number, class (11/12/Dropper) — collected during sign-up
- Profile information: Daily session goal, reminder time preferences
- Payment information: Billing name and address — payment card/UPI details are handled entirely by Razorpay and never stored on our servers
- Communications: Messages you send us via contact forms, email, or in-app support
Information collected automatically
- Usage data: Sessions completed, questions answered, accuracy rates, streak count, XP earned, subjects practised
- Device information: Browser type, operating system, screen resolution, device type
- Log data: IP address, pages visited, time spent, referring URL, session timestamps
- Cookies and local storage: See Section 6 for details
Information from parents (Parent Dashboard add-on)
- Parent name, email, WhatsApp number — used only to deliver the weekly progress report
- Parents may view their child's session data, accuracy, and streak — only for their own child's account
3. How We Use Your Information
- To provide the service: Personalise your daily sessions, track your streak, serve AI-calibrated questions based on your performance
- To manage your account: Process your subscription, send receipts, handle support requests
- To improve the product: Analyse aggregated usage patterns to improve question quality, session design, and feature development
- To send notifications: Daily session reminders, streak alerts, badge unlocks — only if you have opted in
- To generate parent reports: Weekly performance summaries sent to the parent email/WhatsApp you provide (Parent Dashboard add-on only)
- For legal compliance: Maintain records as required under Indian law (IT Act 2000, DPDP Act 2023)
We do not use your data to serve third-party advertisements. We do not sell your personal data to any third party.
4. Who We Share It With
We share your data only with service providers who help us operate Neetdaily, and only to the extent necessary:
- Razorpay Software Pvt. Ltd. — Payment processing. Your payment data goes directly to Razorpay. We receive only a transaction ID and status.
- Supabase Inc. — Database and authentication infrastructure (servers in data centres compliant with applicable standards)
- Vercel Inc. — Website hosting and content delivery
- Resend / Email service provider — Transactional emails (receipts, welcome emails, weekly parent reports)
- Anthropic (Claude API) — AI question generation. No personal student data is sent to the AI — only question generation prompts
- Firebase (Google) — Push notification delivery (mobile app, Phase 2)
We do not share your personal data with coaching institutes, advertisers, data brokers, or any other third party without your explicit consent.
5. Payment Data
All payment processing on Neetdaily is handled by Razorpay Software Pvt. Ltd., a PCI-DSS compliant payment gateway. ERA Media Works does not store, process, or transmit credit card numbers, debit card numbers, UPI IDs, or bank account details on its servers at any point.
When you complete a payment, you are interacting with Razorpay's secure checkout environment. Razorpay's privacy policy applies to your payment data: razorpay.com/privacy
ERA Media Works retains only: transaction ID, payment status, amount, date, and the plan associated with the payment — for accounting and support purposes.
6. Cookies
Neetdaily uses the following types of cookies and local storage:
- Essential cookies: Login session token, CSRF protection — required for the platform to function. Cannot be disabled.
- Preference cookies: Your session goal, reminder time, theme preference — stored locally for convenience
- Analytics cookies: Anonymised usage data via PostHog (self-hosted) — used to improve the product. No personal data leaves our infrastructure.
We do not use advertising cookies, Facebook Pixel, Google Ads tracking, or any third-party ad network cookies on our platform.
You can clear cookies at any time via your browser settings. Clearing essential cookies will log you out of Neetdaily.
7. Data Retention
- Active account data: Retained for as long as your account is active
- Deleted account data: Personal data deleted within 30 days of account deletion request. Anonymised usage data (no PII) may be retained for product analytics.
- Payment records: Retained for 7 years as required under Indian accounting regulations
- Support communications: Retained for 2 years from last interaction
8. Your Rights
Under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act 2023 (DPDP Act) and applicable Indian law, you have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you
- Correct inaccurate or incomplete personal data
- Erase your personal data (right to be forgotten) — subject to legal retention obligations
- Withdraw consent for processing where consent is the legal basis
- Nominate another person to exercise these rights on your behalf
- Grievance redressal — file a complaint with our Grievance Officer (see Section 10)

9. Children's Privacy
Neetdaily is designed for NEET aspirants, who are typically 15–20 years old. For users under 18, we require a parent or guardian to authorise the account and subscription. The Parent Dashboard add-on is designed specifically to give parents visibility and control over their child's usage.
We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13. If we become aware that we have collected data from a child under 13 without parental consent, we will delete it immediately. Contact us at privacy@neetdaily.com if you believe this has occurred.
